Ron Paul Loses More Primaries
I’m not surprised.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve definitely been rooting for Paul throughout this whole reality show. I think that he makes much more sense than any other person who has run for president in the two major parties in a long time.
But I don’t think that most Americans would agree with me on that point, and I certainly don’t think that a median voter would agree with me.
Which is why I think that trying to make society more libertarian/classically liberal through political/electoral means is the short-time-horizon way of going about this.
The Constraints of Reality: What the Anti-Statist Understands and the Statist Seemingly Cannot
A politically active individual (i.e., a statist) makes the determination that the affairs of human beings should work in a certain way (each has his or her own reasoning as to which way and why, but it seems the reasoning always, ostensibly, has to do with finding a way to make a material wealth improvement for certain individuals or groups of individuals), and that, currently the affairs do not work that way and could not work that way unless people were forced to work in such a way under the threat of violence, because of the "unfortunately" selfish nature of individuals.
